[Trigger Warning: Abuse/Assault/Threats] Charlie Sheen Fun Facts.
Let’s set his drug use and penchant for prostitutes aside for a moment and focus on some of his other “winning” moments of the past 20+ years.
1990 Sheen shot then-fiance Kelly Preston with a .22 during an argument.
1994 Sheen was sued by an unnamed student who alleged that he struck her in the head after she refused to have sex with him.
1996 Sheen was arrested for assaulting Brittany Ashland who received seven stitches in her lip.
2006 Sheen’s estranged spouse at the time Denise Richards issued a restraining order against him when threatened to kill her. “I am filing now because I can no longer accept [Sheen’s] abusive and threatening manner and must stop him from the cycle of his abuse toward me and our children,” she stated.
2009 Sheen was arrested for felony second-degree assault, felony menacing and misdemeanor criminal mischief against then-wife Brooke Mueller who alleged that he had strangled and held a knife to her throat in addition to threatening to murder her.
2010 Sheen was accused of putting his hands around the neck of Capri Anderson and threatening to kill her.
Draw your own conclusions, but this is why I don’t find the man amusing. Abusing women is nothing to be praised.
And what was his salary on Two and Half Men? Something astronomical like $1.5M an episode? Ugh.
