what are you guys doing for new years?
Same thing my BF and I have done for the previous three new years: We get carry out Mexican food, eat it at home, and watch movies all night.
Just got done watching Jennifer’s Body, and I have to say, I thought it was great! I know a lot of people didn’t like it, but I did.
What’s everyone else doing tonight?

Travelers ‘Feel a Little Safer’ Seeing Rape Victim... →
missgingerlee:
In an example of how quickly many members of the public have become not only comfortable with by comforted by the harsh and seemingly arbitrary treatment received by others at the airport, 56-year-old rape victim Claire Hirschkind was hurled to the ground and dragged across the airport by police yesterday, reassuring others that the TSA was right on top of things.
“It makes me...

I’m not having my wedding for a few years, but a few friends have found ways to get around expensive venues by using someone’s beautiful large backyard, or the park, or just on the beach. :)
Thanks for the suggestions. We’re not near a beach (I wish!) and a destination wedding probably won’t work for us, money-wise and...

I don’t have advice for planning, as I had a very small and cheap wedding. If it is any consolation, in almost a decade since, I never regretted it. Back then I was sad that it was small and cheap now I am grateful for the decision.
Thanks for the input. I think the worst thing is, I thought we were going to have a cheap wedding! As...
